21 EVE Audio monitors
The choice of the EVE SC205 speakers goes back to Jeff Kater, then Head Instructor of the Audio Production department and now Campus Manager of the SAE Institute Cologne:
"During his time at the High Tide recording studio, he gained positive experience with these monitors and appreciated their precise reproduction and clear resolution - ideal for complex 3D mixes. With their compact size, the SC205s are also perfectly matched to the room dimensions of our control room 2 in Cologne, enabling optimum sound reproduction without overloading the room acoustically."
If you have never experienced music in 3D before, you should definitely visit the second control room on their campus. This is the only Spatial Sound Wave control room in the entire SAE GSAN region! With a total of 21 EVE loudspeakers, it can be used not only with the object-based SSW system developed by Fraunhofer, but also with the world-famous Dolby Atmos system. These systems make it possible to position audio objects in three-dimensional space or even make them fly. This allows you to enjoy a very special sound experience, you are simply right in the middle of it.
